John Bell is a Resource Worker with The Iona Community, who lectures, preaches and conducts seminars across the denominations. He is a hymn writer, author and occasional broadcaster, but retains a primary passion for congregational song. John is based in Glasgow and works with his colleagues in the areas of music, worship and spirituality.
Rev Dr Kate Coleman is founding director of Next Leadership. She has nearly 30 years of leadership experience in the church, charity and voluntary sectors and is a mentor and coach to leaders. Kate recently completed a term as Chair of the Evangelical Alliance Council (2012-2014), is a former president of the Baptist Union of Great Britain (2006-2007), and a Baptist Minister. Recognised as one of the 20 most influential black Christian women leaders in the UK her network extends across all sectors and church denominations. A popular speaker and lecturer, Kate has gained a reputation as a visionary and an inspiration to many.
Nicky Gumbel is Vicar of Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB), an Anglican church in central London which holds 10 Sunday services across 4 sites with a regular attendance of around 4,500 people – most aged between 18 and 35. He is the pioneer of Alpha, an introduction to the Christian faith. Since 1993, more than 29 million people have completed an Alpha in 169 countries. He is married to Pippa, and together they write a commentary on the Bible in One Year, which has over 1.7 million subscribers.
